A few words wanna say...
The background story is rooted in mythology: Many, many years ago, humans lived in a world without the sun or the moon. Glaciers surrounded their land, trapping them in endless cold and hopelessness. One day, a sacred bird descended into this world. She carried the sun and the moon to humankind, bringing them light for the first time. In an attempt to melt the glaciers and free humanity, she gave everything she had. Again and again, she tried, until finally, she exhausted herself and merged with a piece of ice. To honor her sacrifice, people built this temple.
“FeatherFall” is an actual region within my larger narrative world — Starwhisper. I’ve always loved mythology. Through this project, I want to visualize the living world that exists in my imagination. Artists are storytellers and I want to bring ideas to life.
This project began in Sep 2025. All assets including Shaders, Niagara systems, Materials, Landscape, Modeling, and Texturing were created by myself. This project still in-progress!
The reason I am only presenting a screenshot here is because this was developed during my free time, alongside schoolwork and wrok as tech artistto Entropya (an indie game project). I was honestly exhausted but I truly enjoyed it.
I hope you'll explore the previous pages to see the smart workflow behind the project. Sharing the process is more meaningful to me than simply presenting the final result.
To be honest, I once hesitated about continuing in technical art. More and more programming-focused students are entering this field. But I realized I genuinely love this work. Someone ask me what specific direction I want to take as a technical artist. My answer is: I don’t want to define myself too narrowly.
I simply love exploring. I’m not pursuing a job title. I’m pursuing the work I truly want to create.
And when it’s something I truly believe in
I will give it my absolute all:)
I will give it my absolute all:)
